The core idea behind the choreography, as described by the client is: two friends meet up on stage to share their life-long friendship with the audience, from intimacy, trust and joy till loss, distance, and rejection. Based on those experiences “Brotherhood“ represents this friendship in its purest way. The music follows a minimalist approach, created by recording an electric guitar and then heavily pitching it down. Through the addition of reverb, an ambient drone-like texture emerges, a soundscape that embodies the continuous emotional connection between the two protagonists as their story unfolds.
